To include others, with and without disabilities, into part of her story and her struggle, Aysegul Karaca together with us developed a performance for young people : I see I see what you don’t see. This performance is available from March 2019 until November 2020.
Aysegul Karaca, actress and singer, sees poorly. She goes through life with an eyesight of only twenty percent. Moreover, she has a wobble eye, so her disability can also be perceived by everyone. For a long time she didn’t want to face that. She wanted to be a normal girl, not realising that she was running away from herself and even exhausting herself. Little by little she learns to embrace her disability and to live with it.
The Storytelling Centre Amsterdam organises storytelling workshops and trainings for companies, civil society organisations, NGO’s and for you.
