Kingdom of Fire and Clay

While the actors Soufiane Moussouli and Yorke Mulder-Bhangoo intend to play a show for the public about extremism, radicalization and an absurd encounter, they run into problems with their own views. The question is whether they can actually play the story at all.

Friends or enemies?

Two young artists meet in Amsterdam. One is an Israeli, the other an Iranian. Sworn enemies, or possible best friends? Raphael Rodan and Sahand Sahebdivani decide to join forces in this performance and dive into their past, their cultures and the source of their country’s hostility. Kingdom of Fire and Clay combines classic Jewish and Iranian stories, but also the personal stories of Raphael and Sahand.
